Did you know that right now, funding that supports Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
in LaSalle Parish is set to run out in November 2026?
We are here to make sure this doesn't happen and that all children in CENLA will receive free, age-appropriate books mailed directly to their homes next year.
It will take $4,138 to continue serving the 530 children in LaSalle Parish
who are excited to be part of this program.
Treehouse Children's Museum is working to raise
$7,000 through our A Heart for Imagination campaign.
Businesses, organizations, and individuals are all invited to be part of this campaign.
Every gift moves us closer to protecting this program for local children.

GOAL #1 — Help Keep CENLA Reading
The books come first.
Our first $4,138 will help continue Dolly Parton's Imagination Library service for the 530 children currently enrolled in LaSalle Parish.
Once we reach this milestone, we'll be able to celebrate something pretty wonderful:

GOAL #2 — Create A Heart for Imagination
After securing the funding for the program, we'll use the remaining campaign funds to purchase and transform a large fiberglass heart into a permanent Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Community Heart.
The sculpture will celebrate Dolly Parton, childhood literacy, imagination—and the CENLA community that came together to support local children.
Wouldn't Be Dolly Without A Whole Lot Of Sparkle!
Our Community Heart will begin as a fiberglass sculpture and be transformed into a colorful tribute to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Using paint and thousands of sparkling resin rhinestones, we'll create a one-of-a-kind piece of public art celebrating the power of putting books into the hands of children.
Every sponsor becomes part of A Heart for Imagination and will be recognized for their support through Treehouse Children's Museum's social media and sponsor recognition displayed at the museum.
We will be share the transformation along the way so our sponsors can watch A Heart for Imagination come to life.
